by admin on November 9, 2017

Goa may be one of the smallest states in India but the beaches there are some of the best in the country! Goa is on the Western coast of India and you can see why they are some of the most famous beaches in the world. There are ones to pretty much suit anyone, from people seeking pure relaxation to complete party heaven!

Planning a trip to Goa? There are plenty of amazing places to stay to suit any budget including the hotel Ocean Palms Goa. There are lots of beaches but here are the top 5 which will satisfy everyone from party goers to sun worshippers.

Mandrem Beach

Mandrem beach isn’t that well known and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. It is very laid back and everyone here is expecting relaxation rather than thumping music. It has become a spot for honeymoooners and romantics alike because it is so secluded. Watch the sunset from here and you won’t be disappointed!

Baga beach

Baga beach is the complete opposite to Mandrem and is probably one of the most famous in Goa. It’s great for people who are seeking great nightlife and beach parties. It’s loud and full of party goers all year round. If you head here make sure you also go to some of the little shacks that serve seafood all over the beach.

Aguada Beach

If you love water sports head to Aguada beach. There are plenty of options to paragliding or windsurfing. If you are in the right seasons you can also go dolphin spotting! Although Aguada is popular it is big enough that you still get lots of privacy. It is well maintained and has it’s own life guard so you can swim safely.

Vagator beach

Vagator beach is known for its picturesque landscape – think instagold! The sandy cliffs are broken every now and then by large black rocks. It is lined by palm trees and it usually attracts people seeking a simple and quiet beach – apart from one week of the year where loads of trance party revellers descend on the beach for the popular Sunburn Festival.

Cavelossim beach

Cavelossim beach isn’t as well known and therefore doesn’t attract the same amount of crowds as others in the list. It is surrounded by paddy fields and coconut groves which gives the place a very nice atmosphere. People are attracted by the the sandy cliffs and black rocks and usually spend a day relaxing on this gorgeous beach.
