Dyanne@TravelnLass September 2, 2011 at 1:41 am

Great pics – and proof positive that a picture is worth a thousand words (and lots easier to peck!) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Poi September 2, 2011 at 6:34 pm

Thanks! I’m glad you think so!

Shaun September 2, 2011 at 2:13 am

We’ve definitely had issues in more than one place where we got so involved with just living that we didn’t taken very many pictures. I totally understand, but the pictures you did take were great! ๐Ÿ˜€

Poi September 2, 2011 at 6:35 pm

Thanks Shaun – the problem is we do that just about everywhere we go!

I wish we had a skilled photographer with us everywhere we go like you do!

Amanda September 2, 2011 at 5:24 am

Well, you might not consider yourself to be photographers, but you have some fantastics shots here! They really do seem to sum up your first year of travel. Thanks for sharing!

Poi September 2, 2011 at 6:36 pm

Cheers Amanda, a few good in amongst a lot of bad I can assure you haha!

Aisleen September 2, 2011 at 3:01 pm

Yes, I agree with Amanda – you haven’t done badly at all! Your Loy Krathong pics are certainly much better than ours – we just took pictures of orange blurs!! Thanks for posting these, brought back some amazing memories for me. I’m now off to look at all my photos again! ๐Ÿ™‚

Poi September 2, 2011 at 6:38 pm

Thanks Aisleen.

I think we have about three good pics from Loy Krathong, the rest are blurs like you say! Especially embarrassing as we were with a few very good photographers at the time!

Jo Evans September 2, 2011 at 5:51 pm

Im impressed that you could select photos to represent your first year of travelling! Ive got wayyyyyyyyyy too many photos (some of which are blurred/dark/too random etc!)

Theyve made me want to go through all my pics again… so after work a bottle of wine and laptop with a few hours of memories :o)

Keep enjoying yourselves.

(Mine and Mikes page will be underway shortly… just bought our web address!)

Poi September 2, 2011 at 6:40 pm

It was quite a long day going through all the pics but it brought back a lot of memories and made me realise just how many cool things we have done over the year.

It also made me delete A LOT of photo’s that I’m not sure how ever made it onto the hardrive in the first place!

Enjoy your evening and I look forward to seeing your site up soon!

Heather September 2, 2011 at 8:58 pm
