I dived with them in Koh Tao too. We did a Discovery course. The team at DJL were so brilliant that we had a great time, and I’d recommend them to anyone! They were such a laugh, really knew their stuff, and were so nice to me and my friend even though we freaked out and sat on the boat most of the time!

These pictures are making me miss Singapore all over again!

Regarding 1-Altitude — it’s at Raffles Place, which is a main building in CBD, not Raffles Hotel, which is the birthplace of the Singapore Sling. The Sling isn’t great at the Hotel anyway — it comes pre-mixed and still costs S$30! You’re better off getting it from Orgo, a natural/organics bar at the Esplanade, or Loof, a rooftop bar close to Raffles. Or go to LeVel 33, it’s not the 63rd floor but has reasonably priced beers and a great view.

Hey, Thanks for commenting and I’m glad this post helped you out. Crazy that the fakes charge more than the real one, really pushing their luck!

They didn’t discourage us at all, Hanoi was our first stop and we spent six weeks in Vietnam after that and had a great time. Hope to come back one day!
